Kings Island is a theme park located in Mason, Ohio. The park opened in 1972 and has grown to include several roller coasters and other rides. During the fall season (September through October), there are also special events such as Halloween activities and trick-or-treating for children 13 years old or younger.
If you’re in the mood for a trip to a castle, this is your place. Loveland Castle is located just outside of Mason, OH and has been around since 1857 when it was established by the Smith family. The museum stands at 6 stories tall with each floor featuring different aspects of life during its time period. You can see objects like clothing, furniture and toys from that time period as well as learn more about what life was like back then through interactive exhibits such as an old-fashioned schoolroom or farmhouse kitchen (complete with firewood stove!). The top floor offers spectacular views over the surrounding countryside thanks to its location on top of a hill overlooking Lake Shawnee.
